Building the Team

Many people are responsible for the development of high-quality educational materials. This section includes information on the following:

  • Tool 1: Curriculum Development Teams - These teams are responsible for the complex task of developing curriculum materials that address an important need, reflect the current research base for both positive human development and the content area, incorporate an experiential approach to learning, and reflect rich input from the audiences for whom the materials are designed.
  • Tool 1a: Ideal Make-Up of a Curriculum Development Team (doc) - This information describes the kinds of individuals to involve on an effective Curriculum Design Team and the role that each contributes to development.
